About RateFlow

A developer-first currency exchange rate API built for reliability, speed, and simplicity.

Our mission

RateFlow was built to provide developers with a reliable, fast, and affordable API for currency exchange rate data. We believe that access to current financial data should be simple — clear endpoints, clean JSON responses, and straightforward integration.

Our REST API is clean and familiar, so integration is straightforward — it works with any HTTP client. Just configure your base URL and API key to get started.

Designed for dependable exchange rate data

Central banks and institutions

Rates come from central banks and international institutions:

ECB Bank of Canada Czech National Bank National Bank of Georgia Norges Bank IMF

Fast, cached responses

Frequently requested rates are served from cache, helping keep responses quick without calling upstream sources on every request.

Secure by default

All traffic is served over HTTPS, and API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes, never in readable form.

Traceable requests

Responses from our v1 API normally include the X-Request-ID header, so individual calls are easy to correlate in your own logs and error reports.
